Sreeram follows a young man named Sriram who aspires to join the police force, and whose sister-in-law's sibling Madhu becomes the target of harassment from a ruthless police officer nicknamed 'Encounter' Shankar. When Sriram intervenes and clashes with him, Shankar retaliates by sabotaging Sriram's police recruitment through a false report and targeting those close to him. This 2002 Telugu action drama, directed by V. N. Aditya, is a remake of the Tamil film Dhill.
