After losing his young son in the crossfire of a Mumbai gang war, a heartbroken college lecturer throws himself into teaching, eventually taking a special interest in a student who struggles with a stammer. When he learns she is the daughter of one of the rival crime bosses, he tries to broker peace between the warring dons so he can safely take his class on a trip, even as the students' own lives grow complicated by a forbidden romance. This 1993 Hindi crime drama, directed by Mahesh Bhatt, reworks the story of a dedicated teacher and troubled students into an action-driven tale set against Mumbai's underworld.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
