This 1978 Tamil psychological thriller follows Dileep, an outwardly gentle businessman who conceals a violent secret life targeting young women he becomes involved with, all under the watchful eye of a reclusive father figure who shares his disturbed views. When he marries a saleswoman named Sarada, her growing suspicions about strange happenings in their home begin to expose the hidden history behind his behavior. The film, directed by Bharathirajaa and drawing on real-life criminal cases, marked a departure from his earlier rural-set dramas.
