This 1993 Hindi drama follows a wealthy Mumbai couple who adopt their servant's son after years without children, only for a family tragedy during a trip to Shimla to set off a chain of hidden identities and separations. Raised apart from his birth family, the couple's biological son grows up to become a police inspector in Mumbai, unaware of his true origins, while his adoptive brother struggles with addiction and rivalry over the same woman. Their intertwined lives head toward a reckoning involving deception and blackmail as old secrets resurface.
