This 2023 Telugu-language mythological romance, adapted from Kalidasa's classic play Abhignyana Shakuntalam, follows the forest-dwelling maiden Shakuntala and King Dushyanta, who fall in love and secretly wed while he stays near her guardian's hermitage. Their bond is threatened when a sage's curse causes the king to lose all memory of her, complicating her journey to join him at his palace while pregnant with his child. The film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan alongside a supporting cast including Mohan Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Madhoo, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla.
