Set in a small village, this 1981 Telugu teen romance follows Raghu, an unruly young man who spends his time with friends and teasing local girls, until the arrival of Karuna, a newcomer under the protection of her intimidating brother David. As Raghu's mother, a music teacher, begins tutoring Karuna at home, the two young people slowly develop feelings for each other despite the differences in their religious backgrounds and the disapproval this stirs in their community.
