A young police constable hides a personal vision impairment in order to keep the job he promised his late mother he would protect, just as he is posted to investigate the murder of a young married woman in Chittoor district. Several people connected to the victim, including her father-in-law, a woman entangled in a complicated romance, and the constable's own close friend, are drawn into suspicion as he tries to solve the case while concealing his condition from his superiors. The investigation forces him to confront both the mystery of the killing and the personal risk of his secret being exposed.
