Returning from Europe to his wealthy family's home in India, Vikram finds that his scheming stepmother Sulochana and stepsister Dolly have been draining his inheritance in his absence. While thwarting attempts on his life and falling for a spirited village girl named Chanda, he also tries to protect Dolly from a con man who lures girls into a trafficking scheme, setting off a family power struggle over money and loyalty. This 1970 Hindi drama marked the acting debuts of Navin Nischol, Rekha, and Ranjeet, and was directed by Mohan Segal.
