Saugandh

This 1991 Hindi drama centers on Sarang Singh, a domineering landlord who violently punishes his sister Chand and her lover Shiva for their romance, wiping out Shiva's family in the process. The sole survivor, Shiva's pregnant sister-in-law Ganga, vows revenge and swears that her unborn son will one day force Sarang to bow before him, setting up a generational rivalry as both families raise children destined to clash and fall in love. The story follows the next Shiva and Sarang's daughter, also named Chand, as old animosities and a rival suitor complicate their growing relationship.
