A young man in Bangalore returns to his Kerala hometown after receiving a court summons tied to a childhood incident, in which a stray cricket ball led to a minor injury and an escalating legal dispute between neighbors. As the case drags on for years through changing lawyers, lost paperwork, and family strain, he must confront the people and consequences of that long-ago quarrel before he can move forward with his life abroad. The story traces how a small neighborhood conflict spirals into a prolonged court battle affecting multiple families.
