Sardar Udham

This Hindi-language historical drama traces the life of Indian revolutionary Udham Singh, moving between his years in British-ruled Punjab and his later life in London, where he sets out to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre by targeting former colonial official Michael O'Dwyer. The film follows his journey from prison and surveillance in India through a long, clandestine route to England, showing how his past shapes his mission and its aftermath, including his time in custody and interactions with British authorities. Told through a non-linear narrative, it also revisits his early life and relationships in Amritsar around the time of the massacre.
