Santosham follows Karthik, an architect based in Ooty, whose romance with Padmavathi is opposed by her father, leading the couple to elope and settle abroad. When family tragedy strikes, Karthik finds himself drawn back into his late wife's large extended family, navigating shifting relationships with her relatives, including her younger cousin Bhanu, as old wounds slowly begin to heal.
