This 1986 Malayalam comedy-drama follows a hot-tempered, financially strained landlord who must sell his city property to clear debts from his sisters' weddings, but first needs to remove a stubborn tenant family. His attempts to force out the tenant, a spirited young woman named Meera, grow complicated when he enlists a police-officer friend to help evict her, only for the friend to develop feelings for her instead. As schemes and family interference pile up, the standoff over the house turns into a chaotic battle of wills between the landlord and his tenants.
