This 1991 Malayalam satirical comedy, directed by Sathyan Anthikad and written by Sreenivasan, follows a retired railway employee hoping for a peaceful retirement with his family, only to find his household disrupted by his two adult sons' rivalry over opposing political parties. As their partisan bickering and refusal to seek proper employment strain family relationships, the father struggles to bring reason and unity back into his home. The story uses the family's domestic troubles to poke fun at the petty politics and party loyalties common in Kerala at the time.
