This Hindi-language historical drama traces the reign of Prithviraj Chauhan, a 12th-century ruler of Ajmer, as he defends his kingdom against the invading forces of Muhammad Ghori and navigates a romance with Sanyogita, daughter of a rival king. The story moves between political intrigue, battlefield clashes, and courtly disputes as alliances shift and old rivalries threaten to draw Ghori back into conflict with Prithviraj. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and led by Akshay Kumar in the title role, the film draws on a classical Braj-language epic poem about the historical Chahamana king.
