This 2022 Hindi drama, directed by Revathi, follows a devoted mother striving to help her son, who lives with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, experience life fully despite his prognosis. As the young man grows into adulthood, his cheerful outlook and wish to donate his organs put him at odds with legal restrictions in the country. The story is adapted from Shrikanth Murthy's book about the real lives of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother, K. Sujata.
