This 2008 Tamil comedy thriller, directed by Siddique, follows an apparently simple-minded man who gets unwittingly pulled into a drug-smuggling scheme after seeking help from a local gangster. As he crosses paths with a television journalist and becomes entangled in mistaken identities, a series of odd and comic incidents gradually reveal that he is not who he claims to be, setting off a chain of suspicion involving her wealthy friend who is linked to a bank robbery from the film's opening. The story traces the unexpected turn of an ordinary man toward a more dangerous path.
