This 2005 Tamil romantic comedy follows a laid-back young man who enrolls in a college in Ooty and quickly becomes smitten with a popular but hot-tempered, well-off classmate. After winning her friendship by rescuing her father from an accident, he openly declares his feelings for her, leading to a bet over whether she will ever admit to loving him before their college days end. Complications arise from a jealous rival student and another young woman who also has feelings for the hero, all while a hidden truth about his family background looms in the background.
