This 1941 Tamil comedy follows the misadventures of two foolish men who share the same name: a wealthy but dim-witted young man and his equally simple-minded servant. When the employer is arranged to marry an intelligent woman, she becomes the unlikely catalyst for his personal growth, while his servant finds his own path to maturity through marriage. The film is based on a popular farce play and centers on how these men are transformed through their relationships.
