Saathi is a 1991 Hindi crime drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt about two childhood friends, Suraj and Amar, who witness their father's brutal treatment by police and grow up turning to petty crime. Their paths diverge when they fall in with a powerful gangster, with Suraj drawn deeper into the criminal underworld while Amar grows uneasy with the gang's drug dealings. The film explores themes of loyalty and moral conflict as their friendship is tested by the choices each man makes.
