Saani Kaayidham

Set in 1989, this Tamil crime drama follows Ponni, a police constable in a caste-divided village, and her husband Maari, who runs afoul of a powerful mill-owning family after a workplace dispute. When the family's brutal retaliation destroys her home and family, Ponni is driven to seek justice, and later vengeance, joining forces with her estranged half-brother to confront those responsible.
