Set in late-1950s Bombay, this Hindi crime thriller follows naval officer Rustom Pavri, whose seemingly contented marriage unravels when he learns his wife Cynthia has been involved with his friend Vikram. After Vikram is found shot dead, Rustom turns himself in and the story follows the ensuing police investigation and courtroom trial, drawing loosely on a real-life legal case. The narrative gradually reveals the circumstances behind the affair and the killing as the case builds toward a jury verdict.
