This 1971 Tamil drama follows Selvam, a rickshaw puller who witnesses a fellow rickshaw driver's murder and later becomes entangled with a lawyer who saw the crime but stayed silent. As Selvam tries to seek justice, he also gets drawn into protecting a young woman targeted by a trafficking scheme, uncovering hidden family ties and a deeper conspiracy along the way. The film starred M. G. Ramachandran alongside Padmini and Manjula, and became a major box-office hit of its time.
