Revolver Rita

Set in Pondicherry, this Tamil crime comedy follows Rita, a young woman working at a fried-chicken joint, whose family becomes entangled with the criminal underworld after a notorious gangster dies inside their home. As she tries to keep the incident hidden while carrying on with everyday family matters like a child's birthday and buying a car, rival hitmen, a vengeful rival gang leader, and a suspicious local police inspector all close in around her. The film blends comedic family dynamics with a darker gangland revenge plot involving the dead gangster's son and associates.
