Set in a rural Kerala village, this Malayalam drama follows a teenage boy spending his summer at his mother's family home while awaiting exam results. He becomes infatuated with a 22-year-old neighbor who has always treated him like a younger sibling, and his persistent affection gradually unsettles both families and the wider community. As pressure mounts and the two are kept apart, her own feelings begin to shift from familial fondness toward something deeper. The film is a remake of a 1978 movie based on a novel of the same name.
