This 1981 Tamil romance centers on a blind violinist, living independently despite hardships since childhood, who meets a young Christian woman interested in documenting his life story. Their bond deepens into a love affair, encouraged by her supportive grandfather even as her family pushes her toward an arranged marriage to someone else. The film, directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and written by its lead actor, was also produced in a simultaneous Telugu version.
