A pair of small-time thieves, Raja and Balu, end up trapped in a house after a botched robbery, where they are looked after by Anjali, a young woman caring for children in her employer's absence. As the days pass, Raja grows drawn to Anjali and, inspired by her, tries to turn his life around, while later discovering through her diary the hidden struggles of her family life and her own uncertain romantic prospects. The story follows how their paths keep intersecting as Anjali's fortunes change and Raja quietly supports her from the sidelines.
