Raees

Set in Gujarat starting in the 1960s, the story follows Raees, a sharp-witted boy who rises through the illegal liquor trade to become a powerful bootlegger with political connections. As his influence grows, he becomes locked in a prolonged battle of wits with a determined police officer intent on bringing down his operations, while he also navigates rivalries with other crime figures, marriage, and a brief foray into local politics.
