Ra.One follows a designer who creates a video game featuring a nearly unstoppable villain, built at his son's suggestion to be even stronger than the game's hero. When the villain breaks out of the game and into the real world to hunt down the boy who nearly beat him, the hero must also be brought into reality to protect the child and his mother. Directed by Anubhav Sinha and starring Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles alongside Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor, the 2011 Hindi film blends science-fiction and superhero elements with large-scale visual effects.
