Directed by Anvita Dutt — Swastika Mukherjee · Tripti Dimri

Set in 1940s India, this Hindi-language drama follows Qala Manjushree, a young woman striving to become a celebrated singer under the strict tutelage of her overbearing mother, Urmila. Their bond grows more strained after Urmila takes in an orphaned boy, Jagan, whose musical talent draws favor away from Qala and fuels a bitter rivalry between the two. As Qala pursues her singing career and fame, the story explores themes of ambition, jealousy, and the psychological toll of her mother's demanding expectations.
