In this 1992 Telugu drama directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy, Raja's brother works for the village president Devudu, whose daughter Swapna pretends to fall for Raja only to humiliate him publicly. Determined to settle the score, Raja contests the presidency against Devudu, wagering that if he wins he will marry Swapna, but if he loses he will quit the village. The story follows the fallout of his election victory and his efforts to confront Devudu.
