Prema Khaidi

This 1990 Telugu romantic drama follows Chandram, imprisoned for allegedly killing his father, who falls under the watch of a new jail superintendent, Prabhavati, after a dramatic escape attempt to see a young woman named Neelima. Through flashbacks, the story reveals how Chandram, the son of a disabled worker employed by the wealthy Bapineedu, became entangled in a love affair with Bapineedu's daughter Neelima despite their class differences, and how a scheme by her father led to tragedy for his family. Moved by his account, the superintendent decides to help him pursue his love and clear his name.
