Pratikar is a 1991 Hindi action drama, directed by T. Rama Rao and starring Raakhee, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, about a family torn apart when a scheming brother murders his sibling to seize his property, forcing the victim's son Krishna into the care of a family friend. As the boy grows up, tragedy strikes again when the friend's daughter becomes a victim of a local thug linked to the same corrupt family, setting the stage for a quest for justice complicated by a returning police officer with his own hidden ties to the villains.
