Pranam Khareedu

Set in India before independence, the film follows a wealthy landowner who marries a much younger woman and keeps her tightly confined to their home. Amid the household's servants, a mute man and his sister become entangled in romantic and family conflicts involving the wife's visiting brother, leading to suspicion and rising tension within the estate. The story is adapted from a stage play and marked the screen debut of actor Kota Srinivasa Rao and the first released film of actor Chiranjeevi.
