An alcoholic man takes in a deaf and mute boy he finds homeless, unaware that the child witnessed his mother's murder. As the boy identifies his parents' killers, the man becomes drawn into seeking justice. The film follows their unlikely bond and the man's struggle to help the boy find those responsible for his family's death.
