This 1996 Tamil romantic comedy, directed by Vikraman, follows Raja, the grandson of two long-estranged families divided by a religious inter-caste elopement a generation earlier. Barred from both households, he moves in with a local family and quietly works to win over his grandparents while secretly trying to reunite the feuding relatives. His efforts become complicated when a woman claiming to be his wife arrives, revealing hidden connections and a separate love story between members of the two families that further tests old prejudices.
