Phool

Two farmer friends betroth their young children, a boy named Raju and a girl named Guddi, with the blessing of a local holy man known for accurate predictions. Years later, after Raju's father calls off the match, Guddi's mother dies of the shock, and Guddi unknowingly falls for a journalist who turns out to be Raju himself, setting off a tangled family conflict over love, honor, and broken promises. The story follows the two families as old bonds, pride, and misunderstandings threaten to keep the young couple apart.
