Phata Poster Nikla Hero

An aspiring actor poses as a police inspector for a photo shoot to please his mother, who dreams of him becoming a real officer, and a chance encounter leads a social worker to mistake him for a genuine cop. As his invented identity spirals out of control, he finds himself pulled into dealings with a criminal gang while trying to keep up appearances for both his mother and the woman who believes in his heroic image. This 2013 Hindi action comedy follows the escalating complications that arise from his impersonation.
