This satirical drama follows Natha, a debt-ridden farmer in rural India who is nudged toward the idea that his suicide might bring his family government compensation. When a local reporter overhears his plans, the story explodes into a national media circus, drawing rival news channels and political parties who each try to use his plight for their own advantage. The film critiques how sensationalist coverage and electoral politics exploit the struggles of impoverished farmers.
