This Hindi comedy follows three roommates in Pattaya who lose their jobs and get evicted after insulting their landlady, then take in a fourth friend visiting from Mumbai. To secure new lodgings, two of them pretend to be married to the others, leading to a tangle of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and complications tied to a restaurant owner's troublesome younger brother. The story is an adaptation of a Bengali stage play, produced under Subhash Ghai's banner.
