This 1996 Telugu romantic drama follows Vijay, a wealthy, US-raised young man reluctant to settle down, who agrees to his father's proposal of a one-year trial marriage. He weds Radha, his father's hardworking secretary, who accepts mainly to secure financial support for her struggling family. As the couple lives together, their initial arrangement gives way to genuine care and complications when Vijay decides to end the trial and later seeks to win Radha back after realizing her true worth.
