Pavi Caretaker follows a middle-aged, unmarried caretaker at a Kerala apartment complex who fills his lonely, routine-driven life with long work hours, nosy habits and the company of his dog. When the building's owner, a former police officer, rents out part of his living space to a woman he never actually meets face to face, he starts exchanging notes with her and gradually falls for her, only for a misunderstanding to make her leave suddenly and throw his orderly life into disarray.
