Set among betel-leaf farms near Thiruvaiyaru, this 2022 Tamil sports drama follows Poththaari, a once-celebrated kabaddi player now presiding over a large joint family. When a family dispute over land splits off part of his kin after his son's death during a match, old wounds linger for years, even as the extended household tries to celebrate his milestone birthday.
