Set in 1989, this Tamil psychological crime thriller follows a traumatized police officer battling PTSD who is assigned to investigate whether a death-row prisoner with Tourette syndrome is truly the elusive serial killer known as Pattampoochi. A journalist who once covered the killer's crimes becomes entangled in the case after the inmate insists on confessing only to her, setting off a tense pursuit of truth involving the police, the press, and the killer's disturbing past. As the investigation unfolds, the officer's own personal grief and the killer's traumatic history come to light alongside the hunt for the real culprit.
