When a suspected terror threat prompts the military to set up camp near a Kerala village, the arrival of Major Pattabhiraman and Captain Benny stirs up new relationships and old secrets among the locals. A romance blossoms between Benny and a village girl named Satyabhama, while the Major becomes drawn to a young widow, Vimala, unaware that their pasts are quietly connected.
