This Hindi drama directed by Prakash Jha examines flaws in India's education system through the story of a poor rickshaw puller in Ranchi who strives to secure his son a spot in a private English-medium school for a better future. The narrative draws inspiration from the true account of IPS officer Abhayanand, who mentored children in a Naxal-affected Bihar village to help them crack the IIT-JEE entrance exam. The cast includes Adil Hussain, Priyanka Bose, Sanjay Suri, Shourya Deep and Shubham Jha, and the film ultimately released digitally on ZEE5 rather than in theatres.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
