Directed by K. G. George — Sukumari · Bharath Gopi · Nedumudi Venu

This 1984 Malayalam political satire follows a village leader determined to attach his name to a newly constructed bridge, setting off a chain of self-serving political maneuvering between ruling and opposition factions. As both sides compete for control and personal gain, they agree to relocate and rebuild the bridge along with a new road, awarding construction contracts to rival party-backed contractors. The film satirizes corruption and political scheming within Kerala's governance structures.

Where to watch in USA

We checked the streaming catalogues and it isn’t on any service we cover — in any country, not just yours. Films leave and return, so this can change.

We check JioHotstar, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Prime Video, ZEE5 and 13 others. If it is streaming somewhere we don’t read, it won’t show up here — tell us and we’ll add it.
