A Vedic scholar and his son find themselves in conflict when the son returns from the city as a committed atheist, determined to challenge the religious traditions that have defined their Brahmin family for generations. As the son works to convince villagers to abandon ritual practices, the family faces personal tragedies that test both their convictions and their bonds, culminating in a dramatic contest between faith and skepticism.
