An elderly couple in their seventies and sixties resist their children's pressure to leave their ancestral village home and move to the city, choosing instead to remain on their land where the husband tends vegetables while the wife manages the household. Through acts of generosity toward their neighbors, they demonstrate their deep commitment to community and personal values, supporting those around them in matters of employment, education, and marriage.
