Directed by G. Aravindan — Vineeth · Thilakan · Sreenivasan · Nedumudi Venu

Set in 1950s rural Kerala, this satirical drama follows a remote village as electricity finally arrives, bringing unexpected consequences to its tight-knit community. Through interconnected episodes involving various villagers—a communist tailor, a manipulative overseer, an ambitious boy, and others—the film explores how modernization disrupts traditional ways of life. As tensions mount and tragedies unfold, the narrative suggests that progress may come at too high a human cost.
